Boon Brown is appointed by the Bournemouth Football Club to prepare a master plan for development that can co-exist with the existing stadium and its conference facilities on site.  One part of the site has been identified for residential purpose and a planning application is submitted.  The development plan also includes an opportunity for a hotel that will link with the established conferencing and provide a fourth stand enclosure to the pitch.

The former Magistrates Court and Police Station is a grade II listed building with planning permission and a listed building consent from Islington BC to be converted and extended into a 99 room hotel.  The fabric and layout of the building is retained in the conversion and significant rooms such as the entrance hall and oak panelled courtrooms become public spaces within the hotel.  A feature of the new accommodation will be the retention of original cells into bedrooms.

Bunford Park is a 16.5 ha site established for BT employment use.  We are appointed by The Abbey Manor Group to prepare designs for planning application for circa 650,000 sq. ft of office and light industrial use buildings.

The present land use is ‘green-field’ and as such, full landscape and ecological assessments are necessary to support this planning application.
